Question 4 – What did the Lord God say to Noah, two or seven?

Genesis 7:2 NKJV - "You shall take with you seven each of every clean animal, a male and his female; two each of animals that are unclean, a male and his female;"
Genesis 6:19 NKJV - "And of every living thing of all flesh you shall bring two of every sort into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female."
Genesis 7:8-9 NKJV - "Of clean animals, of animals that are unclean, of birds, and of everything that creeps on the earth, two by two they went into the ark to Noah, male and female, as God had commanded Noah."
Answer:
At first, the Lord God informed Noah as in Genesis 6:19 “And of every living thing of all flesh you shall bring two of every sort into the Ark.” Thereafter the Lord God said to Noah in Genesis 7:2 that you shall take with you seven each of every clean animal, a male and his female. In same verse, the Lord God also said to Noah that two of each animal that are unclean, a male and his female”. Thereafter, it is written in Genesis 7:8-9 “that of the clean beasts, of beasts that are unclean, of birds, and of everything that creeps on the earth, two by two they went into the ark of Noah, male and female, as God had commanded Noah”. In these verses, the controversy appeared in number to the atheist; so the atheist decided that the number in Genesis 7:2 has the controversy to the number in Genesis 6:19 and Genesis 7:8-9 and wrote this as the contradict verses among all the contradict verse.

But, if we think spiritually, we know that the Lord God said to Noah, “And of every living thing of all flesh you shall bring two of every sort of animals into the ark. Thereafter, the Lord said to Noah, “You shall take with you seven each of every clean animal”, He said this because the Lord thought that there is a necessity for Noah and his family’s patron and for the sake of sacrifice, which is written in Genesis 8:20. The inner meaning in this is, every living thing of all flesh is two pairs, but the animals which are worthy to eat and are worthy to sacrifice are seven pairs. And the Lord God thought that Noah could take the seven pairs in unclean animals, so He reminded Noah again  “You shall take with you seven each of every clean animal, a male and his female; two each of animals that are unclean, a male and his female”. But it is written about the way of ascending animals into the ship in Genesis 7:8-9. Among the selected animals  even though the clean animals are seven and unclean animals are two, a male and his female,  went into the ark of Noah two by two, male and female, as God had commanded Noah.

So, the races of clean animals and birds, which are suitable to sacrifice, have not ended their races even Noah sacrificed as in Genesis 8:20. Amen
