1 John 4:9 NKJV - "In this the love of God was
manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the
world, that we might live through Him."
Job 1:6 NKJV - "Now
there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before
the LORD, and Satan also came among them."
Genesis 6:2 NKJV -
"that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were
beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose."
Answer:
I John 4:9, “Only begotten son” means there is no
second one. It means, the one has no second place, but has first place only.
The Lord Christ gained the spirit of the Lord, lived in holy stage among the
human beings, taught the path of life to them did the sacrifice for the sins of
the world and got resurrection in glory.
Who were the sons of God mentioned
in Genesis 6:2?
The people, who came through
the divine son Adam in to this world, were also called sons of God. But, these
sons of God, who forgot the divinity in Genesis 6:2 lived with the lust of
flesh and sinned by arranging sexual acts with their chosen women.
But, what about divine angels
mentioned as the sons of God in Job 1:6?
They did not live among the
people. So, they are not equal to the Lord Christ, who became flesh and lived
among the human being to teach the path of love to the human beings and did
sacrifice to expiate the sins of the world.
As you can see there is no one’s
birth, life, death or resurrection is like Lord Jesus who is fully God as well
as fully human. So, no one gets this first right in this age or the age to
come.
So, it is written in 1 John
14:9 as the only begotten son.
